On Saturday, May 3rd, the high school choir and band participated in Music in the Parks at Northwest High School. After choir earned 2nd place and band earned 5th place, the students traveled to 6 Flags to enjoy a rainy day of rollercoasters (see photos). We would like to thank the community for raising the funds to send us on this special trip. We couldn’t have gotten there without you all buying pies from us, letting us carol at your houses, and purchasing lollipops. Come see us at our concerts on 5/6 and 5/7 at 6 pm in the auditorium. We are grateful for your continued support.

These three traveled to Bowling Green tonight for Area Officer Interviews! We are proud of them for taking the next steps to deepen their leadership skills and try out for a spot! Edward served as a delegate and had a hand in helping interview the candidates. Congratulations to Marah Greiman for gaining a spot on the 2025-2026 Area Officer Team! We will find out next week which office she has been given at Area FFA Banquet!

6th Grade won the Panther Plaque Trophy with the highest attendance 96.28%

Boe Timbrook broke the mile record with a time of 6:26. The record was 6:35 and was set in 2004. Maxwell Murphy broke the mile record with a time of 7:23. The record was 7:24 set by Robert Fee in 2003.
