Please join us in welcoming our new teachers to Monroe City! #MCPRIDE My name is Ethan Buckman. This will be my first year teaching and I am the new Social Studies Teacher at Monroe City R-1 High School. I grew up in Monroe City and graduated in 2008. I then moved to Columbia, MO and have been there ever since. I attended Columbia College and have a Bachelor of Arts in History. My wife, Kacey and I have one daughter, another girl on the way, and a dog. I enjoy indulging in sports, movies, and music as well as traveling every chance I get and spending time with my family and friends. What I am looking forward to the most this year is finally starting my career as an educator. I am ready to help today's students anyway that I can and it truly is an honor to be doing so in my hometown! It feels good to be back!
