Baseball: Monroe City falls to Macon on the road 12-1.
On Monday, April 15th, nine 7th/8th grade choir members went to the MS Honor Choir in Columbia. The students had a great time being directed by their energetic clinician Mr. Ronnie C. Wilson. Congratulations to these musical students!

The Monroe City Quiz Bowl team went to districts today. The team won their first and third matches against Highland and Brookfield and lost their second and fourth matches against Elsberry and South Shelby.
Abby Weiss and Tyler Tippit both made the all-district team.
Abby got 6th place all-district.
Tyler got 3rd place all-district.
Monroe City placed 4th in districts with 740 points overall. We ended our season 5W-10L.

Hannibal Tournament results: Monroe City tied with Troy for 5th with a 357. Tanner Beaver was tied for 8th individually with an 84. There were 19 teams playing in the tournament.
