Congratulations to our very own Melissa Threlkeld on being nominated for MACC Adjunct Instructor Excellence in Teaching Award for 2023-2024. This is awarded to 5 of their adjunct (part time & dual credit) instructors based on student nominations.
For their engineering standard, 7th grade students are building earthquake proof buildings with a limited “budget” and materials.

We are not dismissing students at this moment due to the weather.
Due to the incoming weather we are going to do an alternate dismissal. Please do not use the main entrance on Business 24/36 to the school. If you typically pick up there, then you will need to wait until the buses have gone.

Click-It-Or-Ticket event at Monroe City High School was held on April 29, 2024! It was a success! One Hundred Thirty-Three drivers and passengers had their seatbelts on and eight drivers and passengers did not have their seatbelts on! A special thanks goes to the Monroe County Health Department, Sheriff Joe Colston and Deputy Patrick McKenzie for providing traffic control and Nancy Bierly and Joe Jacobs for helping with this event!
