The Monroe City R-1 School District has received a generous donation from the MCR-1 Education Foundation and other donors to eliminate all negative lunch and breakfast balances for our students. This one-time donation is a huge blessing to our students and district. As of 2/2/2024 all lunch and breakfast accounts with a negative balance will show a balance of $0. We are grateful for the contributions of the MCR-1 Education foundation and many others in our community who make life better for our students and school. Monroe City is a compassionate community and a great place to live! Tony DeGrave
